What is a pitch raise or correction?

The piano is designed to be at A-440 pitch. When your piano has not been tuned for a long time, the pitch will drop. The further the pitch drops, the more work will be required to bring it back up to pitch prior to the fine tuning. When more work is involved the cost goes up.  Also, the stability of the tuning will be less than a piano tuned on a regular basis, and may require several tunings to become stable once more.
